Pathlight Achieves Completion of SOC 2 Type I Certification
We’re very pleased to announce that Pathlight recently achieved its Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type I examination and certification. We undertook this initiative to provide crucial third-party validation for our platform security.
As a customer-centric organization, protecting our customers' data is our number one priority. Thousands of frontline employees trust Pathlight every day to achieve their personal best by bringing in data from various systems to know how they are doing and how they can improve in realtime. We have a commitment to ensure both the privacy and security of their information.
That’s why we’re very pleased to announce that Pathlight recently achieved its Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type I examination and certification. We undertook this initiative to provide crucial third-party validation for our platform security. Everyone who uses Pathlight should feel, and know, that their data and communications are secure.
We started this process by hiring Armanino LLP to conduct an audit. Over several weeks, our security, compliance, and engineering team held a series of lengthy sessions to ensure Pathlight’s current internal processes and controls met the rigorous standards of SOC 2, including the five categories of Trust: Security, Availability, Confidentiality, Processing Integrity, and Privacy.
A big thanks to Rishub Nahar, product manager, who oversaw the entire process from start to finish! Pathlight’s SOC 2 Type I examination was performed by Armanino, and our compliance certification began December 2, 2021.
We’re proud that Pathlight has earned this certification and we’re committed to continuous improvement of our practices and standards. For the most current information on our data protection practices, please visit our Security Page.
