Pathlight Health Scores: Measures that Drive Performance

Imagine one score that can instantly tell you how you and your team are performing and where you should focus your efforts today. Sounds like a dream, right? Good news: it’s a reality. Modern customer-facing leaders are already developing winning teams with it— it's called the Pathlight Health Score.

Over the last decade, companies have become saddled with information overload and far too many sources of data. Pivot tables, dashboards, and spreadsheets crowd employees’ screens and take up their valuable time. The data is critical for business decisions, but unfortunately for most, the result is “analysis paralysis” and the wealth of data doesn’t actually lead to insights or improvements for teams or individuals.

But a new movement is upon us and forward-thinking, successful companies are freeing their managers from information overload by streamlining their focus to a handful of measures that are most critical and providing access to this information in realtime. No manager should have to spend hours of their valuable time sifting through and organizing data— and no employee should be limited to seeing their performance just once a week. Managers should be able to focus on coaching. Employees should be able to know how they're doing at their job every minute of every day.

The Pathlight Health Score is the one number you need in order to instantly know how your team is performing. It’s a carefully weighted, balanced score that puts your strategy and vision at the front and center for your teams. With one score, you know if you’re on the right path. And if you’re falling behind, Pathlight provides intelligent suggestions to help employees understand what behaviors and actions are necessary to drive results and hit their goal. The Health Score is designed to pull employees towards your overall vision.

Measures that Move Companies Forward

The Health Score measures your group, team, or individual report's performance. It factors in both:
1) how well employees are hitting their goals,
2) the priority levels of each of their metrics.

For example, if a sales team is making hundreds of calls per week (marked as low priority), but hasn't closed a deal this month (marked as high priority), the Health Score's weighting system would reflect their low performance against an important metric. Another example would be a support team that values closing tickets and having a high CSAT over other activities and wants to weigh these higher in their Health Score.

You can always view the breakdown of the score to gain a better understanding and check on the individual priorities set. Each metric point is determined by its priority level, added bonus points for leading your team, and custom points determined by your management team. Individual and team scores are adjusted for ramping employees so they stay motivated.

Pathlight ensures that employees at every level of the organization have clear targets for actions, decisions, and improvements that will contribute to the company’s overall goals. The Health Score empowers your employees to focus on what is most important, and in the process drives results and success for the company as a whole.
